Join us all month long as we celebrate our 7th Birthday here at Cookin' up Creations!!
Challenges will be based on the "Birthday Theme"....but not necessarily about birthdays!! Don't worry if you don't have any birthday pictures as the possibilities are limitless! Trust me, there'll be enough different challenges for everyone. There's also going to be a few games and random prizes thrown in (see forum here).

New Blue Plate Special challenges are posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
The prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing) .....
For my birthday themed challenge, I decided to focus on time. Birthdays are all about recording time, so I decided to document an important time in my daughter's life; her senior pictures. These are a few of my favorite ones from her photo shoot. My challenge to you is to not only use the following sketch by the talented Brenda Ragsdale of Sketches in Thyme when designing your page, but also to create a project about time. Perhaps you could create a layout about an important life event? Or maybe you could do a project about an event where you had a good time? As an added bonus, add a circle on your project to mimic a clock. (Or you can add an actual clock like I did!). I can't wait to see what you all create!
