A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Nothing captures the essence of summer like the classic red, white, and blue color combo and Stars and Stripes! Your challenge is to create a layout using either red, blue, or both colors. Remember, it doesn't have to be a patriotic or 4th of July page. Also, incorporate some stars and use paper with a stripe pattern. Let your creativity shine and have a blast with this summer-themed challenge!
For my example, I created a patriotic 4th of July layout, using pictures of Jorge and me celebrating by ourselves a couple of years ago.
