New York City’s “Fashion Week” was first held on July 19, 1943,with one main purpose: to give fashion buyers alternatives to French fashion during World War II, when workers in the fashion industry were unable to travel to Paris. Since we’re celebrating Fashion a week in December, I wanted to create a vintage 1943 Christmas in New York moodboard to inspire your layouts. Take as much inspiration from the board as you want!

And here’s my take on the challenge!

Here's mine based on the color scheme on the upper right and also used a Christmas theme. :)

Past Christmas photos of sweet grandkids Sydney, Nate, Evan, and Travis. Their Momma posted these on facebook recently. :)

I used a vintage-looking ornament die cut, a black/white/red color scheme like the photo in the middle, fonts similar to those in the image, and little word/phrase stickers that reminded me of the date strip in the center image. Also, layout is about mailing Christmas cards, so I was insipired by the mailman in the photo!
