A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

For the American Pioneers, traveling to the west was a long and arduous journey. They traveled for many months, seeing different weathers annd seasons, and usually in groups.
November has just flown by! For our last challenge for this month we will create a page that portrays a season of the year, spring, summer, fall, or winter. Also since the Pioneers traveled in groups create several clusters, or groups of embellishments on your layout.
For my example I used pictures from our recent stay in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I just loved seeing the beautiful mountains and fall colored trees. I used a fall collection from Simple Stories to create my layout. I’m always looking for fall paper that has blue in it. This collection is perfect!
