Cookin' Up Creations

For today's Survivor challenge, I was inspired by fire. Fire symbolizes a contestant's life on the show, and when they are voted off, the flame is extinguished. Well...it just so happens , fire plays an important part of my life because I'm married to the Fire Chief. So for this project, I featured pictures of him fighting fires on the job. My challenge to you is to create a fire themed project. Perhaps you could feature a picture of a camp fire? Or maybe you can use shades of yellow/orange/red on your project to symbolize fire? As an added bonus, add a hint of texture on your project as well. I used scraps of paper that reminded me of diamond plate found on a fire truck. I can't wait to see your fire inspired project!

The butterfly is stamped and embossed on suede paper and the center photo is mounted on suede paper for my texture.

Photos of sweet grandson Marcus playing basketball on his Varsity Team, December 2022. He's a terrific player and usually got about 35 points a game. He was chosen player of the game this night and was interviewed by the streaming announcers. So Proud of him!
