A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....


Who remembers the good ol ice cream truck? We never got to buy treats from him because there were too many of us little kids in our family at once. But we still followed it around and watched the neighbor kids get their treat. The sound of the music blasting through the street as he moved very slowly watching for serious buyers. and then the music continued while he was stopped. The light flashing and circling on top of the truck. The colorful stickers that plastered the side of the truck featuring all the different kinds of ice cream he offered.
Your challenge today is all about the wheels and the lights as well as the stickers! so use any type of wheels on your layout (I chose the train wheels) pull out your stickers and use up those odds and ends, Add some bling for the lights and you will have a complete ice cream truck page!
