Join us all month long in February as we post challenges based on Lewis Carrolls' Alice in Wonderland and all of the many adaptations that have come after . . .

Take a journey with us to Wonderland along with Alice, and the many wonderous creatures she encounters after she falls through the rabbit hole.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....



When I think about Alice in Wonderland I think about the Tea Party. My challenge is to use something from the Tea Party. I chose a photo with a tea pot in it. Also choose 2 of the following to add to your party: washi tape, string, ink, stars or buttons

It's a great challenge and example, Phillis!!

My inspiration from a tea party is to use a photo of DGD Makaylee and her friend getting together for lunch and I also used flowers as they are usually at a tea party. I also used Twine and Ink.

It is very hard to see, but there are teacups in the border on the left side and one of the pictures was made on the teacup ride in DisneyLand.

I used washi and twine as the frame around the picture
