Let me be the first to post an introduction to myself.

I am Leslie. Mom to Jeff(Jill) and Rob(Melanie). Grandma to Ethan(15), Karoline(14), Charlie(4), Everett(2), and Mila(2). Mila is pronounced Me-la.

I live in the "thumb" of Michigan, very near the border the USA and Canada, immediately west of Port Huron. I share my home with two cats and a dachshund.

I'm retired due to disability. I have to deal with migraines and fatigue continuously due to a brain illness that mimics MS.

I was a member of the previous CUC forum and looking forward to this reincarnation!

Hi, Leslie! I haven't been able to get disability but I am "retired" due to physical issues. I dealt with fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis for years; then I was diagnosed last fall with rheumatoid arthritis, which has been giving me a lot of mobility problems and other issues, I started an immuno-suppressant drug in November which is starting to finally make a little difference; hoping it brings me back to my old self enough that I can travel and get back to the Midwest occasionally to see my kids and grandkids.
