Here's mine! Ohio's state bird is also the Cardinal. I used reds and blacks and had the same border punch which looks like the Cardinal's tuft of hair. I used the right side of the sketch. :)

Maryland State Bird - Baltimore Oriole

I used Orange, Black & White Stripes, Some Twine to Signify the woven nests they make & I read that they form nuclear families so I included a photo of my husband and I with our oldest son!

The state bird of Colorado is the Lark Bunting. This medium sized songbird is black with white tops on his feathers and nests in grass areas.

3 traits of the Lark Bunting I used for my page:
1. Songbird - a song for my title (Falling for You by Cliff Richard)
2. White tips on the feathers - white paint splatters across the layout
3. Nests on the ground - photos of my daughter diving into a nest of leaves =)

I also read that the females are brown and white...I guess that ties in with my brown/white woodgrain background!
