Scrap QOTD - 08/02/17

Post by tammyfolk »

When you buy new supplies, do you use them right away? Are you inspired to scrap because of them? Or do you just add them to your ever growing stash?

My goal is usually to go home and scrap with the new items, but 9 times out of 10, the items usually just wind up with my other stash.

I've been working on some of the challenges, and I just received my CTMH order. Some of the challenges are perfect for my new paper, but I just can't bring myself to cut it! I'm going to say that my new supplies just get added to my stash. :) ;) :geek:

The majority of the time they just get added to my stash for use at a later time!

Both...if I am working a project I bought the supplies for then it's right away. If I bought them because I loved them, couldn't live with out them, who knows when the company will disappear or all of the scrapbook designers in the world decide not to make any more pp then I put them away for that "special" project.

When a new kit arrives from my Citrus Twist sub, I tend to rip into it pretty quickly and make at least one or two layouts. Then it might sit on my shelf for a few days, weeks or months. Most of the time when I buy outside of the kit sub, it's fr a specific project and I'll get to it pretty quickly. I do tend to overbuy sometimes though, and after I make a project or two I get bored with the papers etc., so there might be quite a bit left over; and that might lurk around for quite a while.
