How do you store your patterned papers? Do you sort by theme/pattern, color, manufacturer, or some other criteria? If you buy kits, do you keep the kits together or break them up?

I store my kits in the boxes they come in and mark the outside or I buy the plastic Iris 12x12 scrapbook clear cases to store them in.

all the other paper I have is stored in 12x12 drawers by manufacturer

By manufacturer. I sometimes wish I could sort them by color, but I just can't make myself do it! I don't get any scrappy kits.

Right now I have a lot of kits that only have a few partial papers and some embellishments in them. I'm going through a reorganizational fit just now, so I think I'm going to break them down.

Most of my pattern paper is either a pad or kit. I keep kits together in the plastic bag they arrive in and the pads I stored in an upright position in one of the cubbies in my Ikea bookshelf.

Use to be by manufacturer but the drawers are a mess and I am totally unorganized.
