Scrap QOTD - 07/05/2017

Ribbon.

I know we still have it in our stash somewhere, and probably never use it any more....but how do you store it? Can you easily access it if you wanted? Do you pull it out for anything other than scrapping? Or did you give it all away when it wasn't the "thing" any more?

All of my ribbon and fibers are in mason jars in a drawer....labeled by color. I had way too much time on my hands! lol.
When I lost my scrapping mojo, I thought I would put it to good use and get myself organized. It works really well. It helped that the mason jars were really cheap too!

I donated a LOT of ribbon (among other suplies) to a women's shelter back in Illinois for their art therapy and kids' programs when we moved. I still have some ribbons in a plastic basket in a drawer. They're on spools and kind of arranged in rows in the basket. I still use it once in a while.

I have a few hanging on rolls for easy access - mostly twine-type, not really ribbons. Ribbons are in jars sorted by color families. I definitely don't use it much!

Sadly, my ribbon is a mess! I had it organized in a drawer, but it has slowly gotten unorganized and a mess! I don't use it often, otherwise I would try to clean it up more!

I store mine in clear antique Lance and Tom's cookie jars.
