Good morning! Do you ever just sit down and make embellishments out of your stash to use at a later date on a layout or project?

I see a lot of people just making decorated tags, clips, or just cute little layered embellishments and just saving them for a future project. Some of them are so adorable that I have thought about doing it but then I wonder if I would ever really use them and just put them somewhere and forget about them I often feel like I have so little creative time anyway that if I spend some of it making embellishments then I wouldn't have anything to show for it I'd love to hear if you have done this and how it worked for you!

I don't unless there is a challenge asking. I have so many finished embellies from all the retreats I go to in a basket. It's funny how if it is in front of you it gets used. I have little doo dads in a basket on a corner of my scrap area and I go to it all the time and use something. I think if we have too much sometimes it overwhelms us and we miss productive time.

I've done some in the past. I 've used a few, but most are in a box or basket somewhere.

No, I'm like Tamara that I'd only do that for a challenge! LOL

I have too many other embellishments I could use.

I made some out of some big buttons for a dt I was on several years ago. But they just sit there on my shelves....I haven't used one of them yet. I only make them if a challenge calls for them.

no, I have very little time to scrap so don't spend time doing that LOL

I've seen a lot of people do that but for me it just doesn't make sense. Even when I've done that I've never had what I needed. So I just make them as I need them.

Only if I'm challenged, but would probably never use them. However, they would look pretty in a clear jar on my bookcase in my craft room.

Hey great idea!! I was just worried about making them and never using them and having them sit in a box but if I ever do I will put them in a jar to pretty up my craft room!! Thanks for the idea!
