SQOTD 9.16.20

Post by Wendy »

How often do you purge your stash and what do you do with the items you are willing to part with?

I try to purge every couple of months, or when I finish a project and try to clean it up. That's when I realize I have too much stuff.
My daughter has a friend that is trying to get into scrapping. I pass everything off to her. Whatever she does not use, she passes off to her Mom's church group.

I purge every 4-6 months. I give it away to some teen girls.

not often enough. It is an ongoing process. I usually announce it on facebook that I have a box and someone grabs it!

I haven't purged in a very loooong time, maybe 4-5 years. I used to give some to my granddaughters but they're not really into scrapping anymore. I've also donated to scrap retreats to use for prizes and schools in the past.

I don't purge, as soon as I do I will find a need for it. I did however let my sister pick through some old kits when she wanted to start scrapping.

I don’t, it’s hard for me to part with my paper.

I reorganize every 3-4 months and move stuff to the front so to speak so that things feel new to me!! I did a HUGE purge mostly of older wood style stamps about 2 years ago. I had a craft sale and what didn't sale I donated to the assisted living where I teach a monthly card class (or did before COVID). I'm like Lolis and have a hard time parting with my paper so this was my reason for a spending freeze in 2020 as I am endeavoring to use up what I have before buying more! I do plan to purge in January though as I really need to make more room in my craft closet!
