SQOTD-9.6.20

Post by Tamara »

How do you usually make titles for your layouts?

Do you use a cutting system? Stickers? Or chipboard?

I generally use the thickers just because they’re so quick to grab or doodle bug ABC stickers. I’m taking a silhouette class in two weeks and really I’m really hoping that I will finally learn how to scan and cut my titles.

I don't have a special cutting machine, so it's usually Thickers or a Sticker or Ephemera, etc. that came with the line I'm using.

I would usually cut them with my Cricut, but since I ordered a package deal of Thicker titles from HSN and I bought a whole bunch of them from my Tuesday Morning that just closed out, I’ve been trying to use them up. I also like to use the titles included in the collections. I hardly ever buy just letters.

My go-to title stickers are from Doodlebug. I buy tons of their basic color alphabets and fonts so those are my standard title alphabets. I also like to use any words I see on patterned papers. One of the greatest places I find titles is at the bottom of the paper where the bar code is to scan the paper into the register. Kaisercraft especially has AMAZING sayings at the bottoms of their paper. I also will buy some ephemera/cardstock stickers if I like the line a lot and plan on making several projects with the paper.

I either use letter stickers or chipboard or cut them on my Cricut.

I might cut them on my machine or use some of the many alphabets I have in my stash..thickers, puffy, chipboard, stickers, die-cuts, wood, metals, I keep buying more but really need to use what I have. It's an additction!

I usually just use my Joy to make a title (the rare times I do one); I just use the Joy's pen to make one
