We have a small stamp/scrapbook store here in Pueblo. I go there occasionally for cardstock, ink, stencils. They don't have a lot of patterned paper, but I did find some great embossed or flocked paper that I used on Halloween layout. We also have a Hobby Lobby and Joann's. There is a wonderful scrapbook and stamp store in Colorado Springs, about an hour away, and I always spend an hour or so there when 'm in town. The Springs also has Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby.
I have a Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby all within 15 minutes of my house. You would think that's a great thing! But their scrapbook sections are hardly ever updated with new stuff. And they seem to be getting smaller and smaller. They will get one little section of the new stuff that they put on sale right away. If you are not there as soon as it hits the shelves, you lose out. I find so much more online.
I have Michaels, AC Moore, and JoAnns and rarely ever find anything that I want .....I go for staples, ie cameo mat, photo splits, white cardstock, etc.
