SQOTD 7/29/20

Post by Wendy »

Good morning all!

I know most of us here do not do digital scrapbooking, but have you ever tried it?

I tried it once when it first came out and I did not like it at all. The program we were asked to try out had many different folders for all of the "embellishments". I spent more time clicking on folders just to see what was available, and it was frustrating to me. And then once I found something I wanted to use, I had to resize it to fit my page. I'm sure things have improved since then, but I still have no interest in trying it again.

I’ve tried a couple of layouts using Procreate. I like it but I find playing with real paper is a lot more rewarding.

It never really interested me. I like playing with paper and the 3D look.

I'm having a hard enough time learning all the ins/outs of google classroom. I have not done digital scrapbooking for that reason. I am interested in how people make sketches using digital software. But right now my head is swimming in other digital matters. That and I LOVE PAPER! I have a slight paper addiction.

I tried it and did not understand what to do. So the digital stuff I had I could not manipulate

I have and will do hybrid LOs from time to time. I too love the paper but every once in a while I will create one with my silhouette.

I spend enough time on my computer as it is. LOL. Not really interested. Plus how would I print to put in my albums? I'll stick with paper, thank you very much. :)

I love the look of the digi pages and I did try it once. But I'm a touchy feely scrapper and I want to play with paper. I'm on the computer so much anyway that I need that break. :) It's quite confusing to me too. If I want digi copies of my pages, I just scan them in and I can always order a book if I want to when there's a sale somewhere.
