Good morning! Do you usually use cardstock for the base of your layouts or do you tend to use patterned paper more often then cardstock?

I find that I probably use cardstock more frequently but I do use patterned paper on lots of occasions. I think it's because I have so much cardstock! I guess for some reason I used to really stock up on it when it was on sale, apparently I thought maybe they would stop making it because I have BINS full of cardstock and I haven't bought any in over 2 years and I still have PLENTY!!!

I like using patterned paper. I keep buying paper pads.

I try to use a high quality cardstock as the base of my project, and then start layering up with patterned paper. Some patterned paper is so flimsy that it's hard for it to support the other papers, the embellishments, the pictures, etc.

Most of the time I use a cardstock color. But I also use some of the new pattern papers that are thicker than they used to make them just depends on the pictures

I usually use cardstock and then layer patterned papers over it. On occasion I will use patterned papers for the base if they're not too busy.

Here lately, it's been cardstock but I go through spurts where I might use patterned paper.

I use both. I used to use patterned paper more often, but now I gravitate toward cardstock.
