SQOTD~ 6.8.20

Post by Tamara »

Do you like to do a challenge as soon as it is posted? or do you let it soak in and think about what pics you'll use and other ideas that pop up?

I like to do it on the day it's posted, of course I search for pics first. Sometimes I can't get to it so I think about it until I can. Maybe that's just part of our creative brain or the part that keeps us from making a mess of our page.

I try to work on them right away. Some need lots of thought (Miss Scarlet...lol)
Hoping I get some inspiration so I can get my page done today. I have all day to think about it...

Tamara - Challenges scare me. Funny huh? I run a challenge site, but rarely finish a challenge (within the time frame anyways) . . .

Scrapbooking....is there really anything else?

It depends on what I am working on and the challenge

I struggle really bad with challenges so if they take too much time since I don't get lots of time to scrap I won't try them....

No. I usually scrap during the weekend when I feel like scrapping (Fri-Sun). It also depends on the due date, too, and if I have the necessary "items" for it....and if it's a challenge I want to do.

I find that if I don't do a challenge within a couple of days I never get around to it. I think I get overwhelmed if there are several I want to do. I can't decide which one to start on so I just don't do any.

I wish I could think that fast. It takes a day or two to asorb the challenge, another day or two to find photos and papers. By then another challenge or two has been posted and I get overwhelmed.

That’s exactly what happens to me!

With challenges, I ruminate for a while. Sometimes I know exactly what photos I want, but execution of the challenge usually takes some thought.
