SQOTD- 5.20.20

Post by Tamara »

How many current bags of scraps do you have?

I seriously have five! Shouldn't there be a limit? What do I do with some of these? I'm trying to thin out my room. I've given them away in the past but just not sure anymore. What do you do with extras?

I have a huge box. Melody and I have been using lots of scraps from there in the last couple months.

I give some away and I feed the garbage can with others.

I save all mine and create pages, cards or tags with them. I also tuck them behind other pattern papers for a layering effect........or punch out shapes: circles, squares, hearts, butterflies, tabs to use on a page later. If you keep them in a bowl on your desk you're more likely to use them.

I usually keep only bigger scraps so it’s not overwhelming

I keep my scraps with the kit or the pad that it came from. I do have a box of scraps, I get tempted to throw them away from time to time, but I only throw a few of them. I just need a bigger house! :D

I keep my plain cardstock scraps separated by color in a file, my patterned paper in a 12x12 Iris box and any scraps from a collection with the collection. I do purge them once in a while but I like to use them with punches and layering.

I eliminated all of mine just recently and only currently keep black and white cardstock scraps. As for patterned paper, right now everything I use is from a kit so the scraps stay with that kit until it’s killed.

If it comes from a pad of paper or a collection, it stays together till I'm all done with it. If it's themed (like Christmas) it'll go in that theme's folder. If it's just regular CS or PP it'll go wherever I put it. LOL. Sometimes I know I could use it later but will toss.

If it is still there a year later, it gets purged.
