My husband asked me this question the other day so I thought I would throw it out to you guys.

Why is a scrapbook page called a layout?

My guess and answer to him was probably because your page is your composition and the structure is like an architecture plan to get from beginning to end.

Many years ago, when I was doing Creative Memories, I was trained to call only the the 2 pagers layout. One page is called a scrapbook page.
