Do you use cardstock as a background for your pages or just use pattern paper?

Both, but I really prefer a patterned paper.

I use cardstock most of the time, but occasionally I use patterned paper. I recently bought two 12 x 12 pads of "background papers" (one from Kaisercraft and one from american Cradts) so that may change.

It's probably 50/50 anymore between cardstock and patterned paper backgrounds for me.

Both but prefer pattern paper if I have it. I think it just gives the background a little more oomph without having to add a lot of mixed media.
