If you aren't working with a sketch, do you plan your layout in your mind or do you do a rough sketch of your own?

I plan it in my mind and just kinda wing it changing it as I go a long.

If I'm not working with a sketch of some sort, I usually take the pictures, papers, and embellishments I want to use and play around with them a bit to figure out what I want to do.

I have done all of the above. Most times though, I start with Pinterest. I see a layout I like or a sketch and go from there. Other times I will scrap an entire layout in my head, and I have also made a rough sketch.
