Scrap QOTD 10.13.19

Post by Tamara »

Do you scrap a layout from start to finish or do you take a break in between?

I kind of do both but when I find myself stopping and going to do another chore then come back to it, I have refreshed eyes and it comes together easier for me.

I work on the background, papers and photos first, take a break and go back later in the day to add my embellishments.

I usually finish mine in 1 sitting. If I get stuck I'll walk away and try again later.

I usually fit my scrapbooking in where I can do I don’t have a ton of time in any given sitting so I usually don’t finish a layout in one sitting.

I haven't been able to complete a layout in a really, really long time.

I will say that when I did scrp, I was a very slow scrapper, and it typically took me more than one day to finish a layout

It takes me a long time to complete a page, so I have to walk away and come back several times until is done.

I tend to take a break at some point during making a layout. As Tamara said - I seem to have fresh eyes and can see what it does or does not need.

I do both. Sometimes I can sit down and crank out several in one sitting and other times I just do the bones and then come back and finish them.

I usually think about the page and grab photos and pps throught the day. I might lay it out the same day but sometimes not. The next morning I glue it down and make last minute changes. Seems crazy but it works for me.

This is me; usually only if I run out of time do I leave a LO not done.
