This is the last of my basic scrap questions but I'll be back for 2 weeks from the 19th-Nov 1st with more in-depth questions.

Since most of us are not rich, when you need something for your LO that you don't have, do you ALTER some of your stash to complete a page?

I have altered alpha mostly when I need a different color by using markers or paint. I've altered embellishments by changing colors too or adding beads &/or leaves, ribbons and glitter.
Do you do anything like this to use up your stash?

I don't usually alter any of my stash but I should probably start. If my stash doesn't match my project I use my Cricut to create something.

Haven't ever really thought about this. Sometimes when I'm at a retreat scrapbooking and I don't have everything I need I just lay the layout of side and then work on it when I get home and have the new product. I definitely should be in your ballpark using a everything I have. However I have so much that sometimes it takes me longer to look for it then to actually scrap it

Yep, I have definitely altered alphas and embellishments.

I usually have something laying around that I can use, even if it's decades old. If not, then I alter as a last resort.

Yes when I don’t have alphas the right color I alter them with ink.

I can digitally change colours of elements and cut things smaller like frames.
