Does anyone have a cricut machine, and tell me how I can cut something that the paper doesn't stick to my mat or ripped my paper

I had a cricut only used it a few times. I now have an expressions. I could never get the blade to cut the paper all the way through. I bought a new needle or whatever it is called but have never installed it. My daughter loves the one that hooks up to your computer printer. And it is really slick!

Is your mat too sticky or not sticky enough? If it's too sticky you can try putting a cloth over it a couple of times and pulling it off. If it's not sticky enough you can try taping off the borders and using a spray adhesive. I personally just buy a new mat with a coupon.

Are you using the GREEN mat? You could get a light grip mat. Love mine.

I would bet your paper is too thin; I've had thin paper rip (especially as I was pulling it up after cutting  )
