SQoTD - 04/22/2017

Post by Wanda »

So, I cleaned off my table and cleaned up my scrap room when Sarah came home for Easter. Now I'm having trouble getting started again!
Anyone else have this problem? What do you do when you need a JOLT to get started? Or if you are in a terrible rut and need a push in a different direction?

That seems to have been me for months. I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things and have actually had to urge to scrap all week but have been unable to since Jackie and Everly are here. I have written some ideas down though and have even planned a few pages. Maybe next week I'll have some time in between taking Garrett to all of his obligations next week!

When I get in a rut I usually will watch a couple of process videos and that usually gets me excited to scrap again. Sometimes just going through photos or papers helps, too.

Like Lori, I look for process videos (especially fond of those by Tracy Banks and Laura Whitaker) or I blatantly scraplift something I like.

I have "kits" I have made and usually have a sketch with them that are my go to when I'm drawing a blank. Once I do one of them I'm usually back on track.

I kind of want to make some kits, too. Seems like it would be fun. I might buy Victoria Marie's class about how to make a kit.

My problem lately seems to be finding the time.
