Scrap QOTD 3/4/2018

Post by Jan Mosier »

When scrapping, do you put your things away after you use them, after the entire layout is finished or leave it out and clean it when you get ready to scrap again?

Some things I put away after I use they have a specific home. Papers, especially scraps I leave laying on my desk until I get ready to scrap again.

Depends if I have club soon after. Melody, my cousin Deb and I have been working on baby scrapbooks so all the stuff has been out for a week. We cleaned up the tables at The Stampin' Cottage today because I have club Tuesday and Wednesday.

I put away some tools but leave out the ones I use frequently. I keep current project and the latest kit in iris boxes, which sit on my table until I move on to another project/kit.

Some things I clean as I go, some tools I put up as I go along. Like a brad setter it gets put up after I use it as I don't use it too often. The corner rounders stay out the whole time I'm scrapping, etc. Paper scraps/strips I put in a folder and flip through it when I'm working on the next project

I just keep letting it pile up and work around it. If I have to push some on the floor then I do. If I feel like scrapping and there is still a mess from the last time I just work around it, After awhile the urge to clean takes over and I have a clean desk for awhile and then I go into my scrapping frenzy again and stuff is all over.

I usually just scoot the mess aside and clean it later.....much later....that's going to change, I promise. haha
