I watched a few Youtube videos this weekend with the person using Gesso. Have any of you used it?? If so, thoughts??

I've used it on some projects. Honestly, I don't like working with it very much. I have trouble spreading it thin, so it kind of streaks and warps my paper a bit. Maybe I just need more practice....

I've used it a couple of times. I used my fingers to spread it. It does however warp your paper, but if you plan to experiment with mixed media you will need to add the Gesso or white acrylic paint to your cardstock prior to the mixed media. I think it's suppose to keep the paper from tearing but I'm not sure.

I've never used and every time I go to the store to get it they are either out or I forget it! I would like to try it but I am so mixed media challenged it will probably stress me out, too!

I tried it for the first time this weekend - it was a lot of fun!! After laying the gesso down I used watercolors on it to give it some pop of color. Going to post the LO in just a bit
