GRANDMA GINNY'S MAC N CHEESE: My Grandma Ginny was an outstanding cook! No one made Mac N Cheese as good as hers. And sadly, I did not ask her before she passed away what her recipe was. So it took some trial and error, and I found the recipe that tastes exactly like hers. And who created the recipe that tastes like Grandma Ginny's? Paula Deen! This is the Lady & Son's Restaurant in Savannah, Georgia recipe for Mac n Cheese that is identical to my Grandma's. (Even my Dad says, "This tastes just like my Mom's did...") Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
1 box of macaroni noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
4 tablespoons of butter cut in pieces

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Boil the macaroni noodles, drain, and pour into a baking dish
3) Right into the dish, mix in the eggs (beat them before pouring them in), sour cream, milk, salt. Stir around
4) Pour the cheese on top. (As much as you want).
5) Place the pats of butter all over the top of the cheese
6) Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown

YOUR SCRAPBOOK PROJECT: I am having you use 5 of the "ingredients" from my Grandma's Mac N Cheese for your project today. Here we go!
1) RECIPE: Use the sketch below created by 2 Broke Girls as your guide.
2) BROWNED CHEESE ON TOP: Use a brown stamp to ink the edges of your patterned paper/papers.
3) YELLOW/ORANGE: The mac n cheese has a yellow/orange tint to it. Use yellow and/or orange somehow on your project. (Think earth tones; I used fall colors).
4) MACARONI: Macaroni noodles are basically half circles. Use circles (either a whole or half) on your project.
5) RESEARCH: I had to research to find a recipe like my Grandma's. I challenge you to research through your picture stash and find an older picture or pictures that you would like to use.

Here is my sketch and project.

The inked edges do not show up good, but they are inked.

I love your projects Tamara & Ural! Thanks for playing along with me. And Phillis, this is the EASIEST recipe ever! It's one of my go-to Thanksgiving dishes each year especially since it only requires 1 pan to assemble.

Great sketch and I liked the challenge of finding an older photo! I thought I would struggle finding yellow and/or orange papers to use but found I had some great options in my stash. Thanks for a fun challenge!
