From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere - and that's exactly what you're going to find this month at Cookin' up Creations. This month, all our challenges will be based on Everything Seuss and all the fun quotes, books and characters that we've all grown to know and love.

I chose the book, Go, Dog. Go! which is not written by Dr. Seuss....my bad. It is written by P D Eastman and is part of the Dr. Seuss Beginner Books series. P D Eastman's illustrations and style of writing is very similar to that of Dr. Seuss.

The book describes the actions and interactions of highly mobile dogs, who operate cars, scooters and other conveyances in pursuit of work, play and the end goal - a party.

I chose this sketch from Sketches In Thyme by Shawn Lahr. Your challenge today is to create a layout with some type of transportation and movement, at least 4 different patterned papers using the colors in the cover of the book -red/orange, green, blue.

Here is my layout.

Remember - A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

*Winner will be chosen via Random.Org.

If you think you have seen this photo before you are right. I put it on the wrong layout before and had to change it.

Love that book, Jan. Read it over and over to the grandkids when they were little. Great example for your challenge. :)

Criteria was to use the colours in the book cover of Orange, Red Green and Blue. Use movement by Santa Clause with his reindeers of hopping Kangaroo's. A vehicle which is in the photo
Plus the Sketch from "Sketches in Thyme"
