Are your scrapbook albums displaying a gator mouth? Any advice to help solve the problem? The only albums that did not end up with an alligator mouth are the Creative Memories albums. What type of albums do you use?

Are you using rings or post-bound? If post-bound, add some more of the cardboard strips that come with the albums between the pages. I cut mine out of craft foam and put them every 3-4 pages depending on the dimension of my pages.

Do you get rid of the spine liner or cover?

no...I'll try to get some pictures of what I'm trying to describe and see if that helps.

I'm interested in seeing as well, as I too have that issue, and my pages DO NOT have much extra dimension to them at all

This video explains what I am talking about. I do not use this brand of albums and stick to 3 ring binders because I am a lumpy scraper.

I make my own spline inserts out of heavy chipboard or craft foam. Most albums are designed to let your fold out the spline cover and expand it using post extenders and spline inserts.

I’ve done that too, but I had to get rid of the spine cover because it wasn’t big enough, but it’s a different system then the one I get from Micheal’s. I really liked the clear extenders!
