do you paint them, cover them with paper or leave them as is?

The majority of the time I leave them as is, if I need a pop of color I will paint them using my ink pad or acrylic paint.

I will usually leave them as is or go over them will distress stain.

I usually leave them as is, but occasionally I'll paint or ink them.

I don't think I have ever thought to paint them! I always just leave the wood look!
