Monday March 29: Sketch Challenge

Join us all month long in March as we celebrate the 4th anniversary of Cookin' up Creations (once again)!!
Challenges will be based on the "Birthday Theme"....but not necessarily on the "specific birthday"...the day itself, the person, the gifts, food, games, new life in general (Spring)/ Newness......the possibilities are limitless...
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
Today marks our final Birthday themed sketch challenge for the month of March. Today's sketch is a beautiful design created by Shawn Lahr of Sketches in Thyme.
I used this sketch to create a project featuring my oldest daughter and her love of her horoscope sign. She loves learning about her "sign," & I have always wanted to create a project featuring her Taurus traits. I wanted the project to have a celestial feel because horoscopes rely so heavily on star placement. I thought the circles in Shawn's sketch would be a perfect accent to a horoscope themed project.
