Fabulous pages everyone!!! :)

Here's mine These are pictures from 2017. I was driving back from a trip to town by myself and as I came over the top of the mountain pass and came around the corner there was this big black bear getting ready to cross the road! Thankfully there wasn’t anyone behind me and so I slowed down and grabbed my cellphone to take pictures. He had been over to the Harris River to fill up on some salmon and was on the way back to his den. Steve and I have seen him at least once every year since then and he has gotten quite a bit bigger! Such really fun thing to see!

This is also the same general area that Steve and I were coming home another time and there were 2 animals standing in the middle of the curve. I started to ask why there were 2 dogs there (no houses for many, many miles both ways!) and at the same time we both yelled WOLVES!!! There were 2 of them standing there. As soon as we hollered, they ran into the marshy area. We stopped to see if we could see where they went and until one moved neither of us could see them. They blended in so well it was scary! They weren't far from us at all and were staring at us like we were staring at them. They weren't at all afraid of us. But we were smart enough not to get out of the car! I didn't get any pictures because it's supposed to be a rare thing to see wolves here. But apparently they've gotten so used to people they run through yards in the middle of the day chasing deer! We've only had one in our neighborhood in almost 5 years and it was not healthy. It tried to get a neighbor's pure bred hunting dog so I don't think it lasted very long. We never saw sign of it on our property but it wasn't far away!
