Let's face it, we all have a scrappy stash …. things that we are hoarding, forgot we had, never got around to using … yeah, you know you have it, too!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Today's challenge is to use frames. Not so long ago, it was common for a paper line to come with all kinds of embellishments and ephemera with one of those being picture frames. In the LO below I used 3 of those frames.




No frames? that's ok too. Just grab some washi or ribbon or even paper strips and create a frame somewhere on your LO.

I do have a bunch of frames, but haven't been using them lately. Great examples!

This is too funny! I just went through one of my boxes this week and tossed a dozen frames into my give away box. If I can't find one I can always pull it out of that box. I also have many metal making memories frames so I won't have to go far. I love your titles! I bet the kids had a blast rollin around!

Here's mine! I ended up using 3 frames as extra layering under my photos.

Night Sledding

Very old My minds Eye frame and also who remembers circular paper? Not sure who did this one because it isn't marked but it is definitely older. I also used an old photo. The youngest in the phot was killed when she was 10 in an auto accident with her younger sibling (not pictured she would of only been a baby) and my grandparents. My mom was orphaned at 17. I always think they look older than they were in these old photos.
