We really enjoyed the trick or treaters on Halloween last year. In Illinois, we lived at the edge of town during our last four years there and didn't get trick or treaters. We loved seeing their costumes and handing out candy.
I do miss the annual Homestead Festival held each year in our hometown in Illinois, with a parade, kids' fun fair and other activities. And I miss trips to a nice family owned orchard about 40 minutes down the road. We haven't found replacements yet for those activities here.
