Random QOTD- June 20th, 2017

Post by tammyfolk »

So it's more scrap related.....but I need to know. LOL

Thickers.

Do you have an ungodly amount of them?? How do you store them?? Do you keep them with the kits (if you get them in the kits)??

Please share (*as I mentioned before, I'm sorting and organizing)

Hi - My name is Wendy and I have a Thicker addiction.

I have a drawer that I keep all the black and white Thickers in. And then there is the basket...where i keep every other color - lined up by color. It's pretty well organized and I love that i can just grab the basket and find the right color section. The problem comes in when I cannot find just the right shade of that color! I tend to buy a lot of the white foam Thickers because they are easier to customize colors with markers or inks.

If "Thickers" is meant to include all the different dimensional letter stickers, then I do have a lot.
I started with the black and white ones in a narrow basket that would hold them up; and with the colored ones in an accordian file type thing.
Now they are kinda all mixed up again. Maybe I should sort again?

I'd rather scrap than sort.

I don't have a lot of Thickers but keeping them upright in a container within reach would be better than storing them with the kits. You are more likely to use them more often if you can see what you have.

I think I'm going to start just taking my kits apart. I have like 2 years of Scraptastic kits that I've not even touched. I just am so overwhelmed these days with trying to find the right anything to go with my pictures...which is what started this sorting / cleaning project.

I keep all of my alphabets together in my scraprack. I have tried not to buy alphabet stickers anymore since seems like I have too many ones left over and can't use them. Ugh
