Do you vote by mail or go to the polling places?

We vote by mail and have for many years. I know a lot of people don't think it's safe but it works for us. For the 2016 election we voted by mail and after the election dh got a letter from our county saying his vote didn't count because his signature didn't match what they had on file. It made me feel good to know that they do check signatures.

I've only had to do an absentee ballot once. Even when I lived in the suburbs of DC I would go to the polls. Now here it's a breeze with only 250 in our community. Technically we're still absentee voters because they take them to the town with the big barge landing. But we go to the library on voting day and fill them out and get our stickers.
