Do you plant any veggies for the summer season?

I was just given 13 heirloom tomato seedlings. I sure hope I can keep them alive and get some good tomatoes. With the heat down here, I'll be surprised if I can keep them alive.

I do not. I am not good at keeping kind of plants alive...lol
My neighbors have amazing luck at growing everything, so I end up enjoying theirs when they have an abundance.

We’ve tried it before, we’ve never been successful.

Nope. We get our veggies from the farm or where Mom works.

I used to but since we moved to this house with a much smaller yard there isn't a lot of room and so many spots that the sprinklers don't reach. A couple of years ago we tried planting them in large pots but seriously it was more work than it was worth. we live a couple of blocks from the farmers market so we like to go there on Saturdays I n the summer. It is much more productive and cost effective for us.

not really successful here either . . . pretty gung ho in the beginning, then the heat and the weeds take over. Too hot for me to go out and weed . . . lol
