Are you a baker?

I am not a baker. Jack gave me a Kitchen stand mixer (apple green) one year for Christmas and said that I would never use it. I proved him wrong by baking treats for the dogs. When I was doing the farmers markets I was baking several batches a day. Now days, I bake just for my own dogs and Kyle's.

I can bake - if it comes from a box...lol.

I do make homemade Kolachis for Christmas every year. I also have the Kitchenaid mixer. I use it for kolachis once a year and mashed potatoes.

When my Kitchenaid was working (the gears are stripped for the second time) and there were children home I always had homemade cookies in the house and homemade cinnamon rolls were a monthly treat. We had cherry trees in the yard so lots of cherry pies and cobblers and of course in the fall came the apples and apple crisp. Today nothing unless it is from a box or store. Why bake when you can scrap!

I love to bake but only do it around the holidays now. We try not to eat that much sweet stuff anymore and if I bake I just can't control myself.

I've always been able to do a little baking. Coming from a family of ten kids we all learned kitchen skills. The problem comes when cooking for only two. sometimes there is lots of leftovers

Not really. I only bake a couple things a year.
