RQOTD 4/25/2020

Post by BarbP »

It's Saturday -- and here's a new Random Question of the Day:
What's your favorite weekend breakfast food? Do you make something special, or do you go with the usual quick breakfast?
At our house it's just myself, my husband and my mother. Usually we have quick, easy things like eggs, toaster strudels or pancakes. We get up at different times, so we don't always eat together.

On the weekend we have a diner style breakfast, Keto version. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fried jicama, or cauliflower hash, and almond flour pancakes.

Always do a better breakfast on the weekends because DH is home from work. He eats early in the weekdays.
Today we had scrambled eggs with spinach onions mushrooms and cheese with it break bread. 😊

Shawn always cooks on the weekends - usually sausage and gravy, or eggs and bacon. Whether we choose to eat it or not is up to us, as I typically can't eat breakfast as I get nauseous, and Garrett takes a bunch of pills in the morning, and he's never hungry

Today it's almost noon, and he's making sausage, eggs, bacon and grits. . . I'll probably eat as it's late enough in the day.

Same as every other day....cereal and yogurt. We get up at different times so we never eat breakfast together. When dh is having breakfast I'm usually eating lunch.
