RQOTD 4.12.20

Post by Tamara »

What are you making for Easter Sunday dinner today?

So different not having dinner with the entire family. But easier on me and dishes, right?

We are having chicken cordon bleu. I think I want to make some brown rice Then we will have lettuce salad and a vegetable probably zucchini. Maybe I will make a treat strawberry brownies or strawberry shortcake or something. I haven't made a sweet for a while but still need to be careful.

I haven’t thought so far ahead. I was thinking of having a backyard picnic with my hubby under the trees, but my weather report says “ Unhealthy air/ sensitive.” I’m staying inside.

We're getting Easter brunch from our community restaurant. It includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit cup, scones, ham, chicken marsala, roasted potatoes, garden salad, rolls and carrot cake. That'll probably feed us for 2 days.

Whatever I can find in the fridge. My sister is cooking dinner today and I was invited to go but since they haven't been obeying the quarantine order I decided to stay home.

We cooked a ham and made potato salad. That's it. I'm dieting, and G only likes ham, and doesn't really do "any sides" at all anymore. We skipped all the tradional items as it's just us, and nobody really wanted everything to even make it worth while, so we we very minimalistic today.
