Do you have a hard time falling asleep when you get in bed? Or do you just go right to sleep?

I'm really bad and stay up playing games till 11:00 most nights but then seem to settle in
DH has had a lot of sleeping issues the last few years. He rarely gets more than 6 hours sleep a night and if he is stressed he looks really tired.

not usually, I read before bed. When DH was in Africa for 3 weeks, Sparky, my dog, started jumping up on the bed and would lay next to me until I turned off my kindle and then he would jump down to his bed. It was his way of stepping up and making sure I was safe for the night.

I don't sleep well at all. I head to bed at 9pm and read my kindle for about an hour. Then try to sleep. If I fall asleep right away I wake up around 3am and toss and turn the rest of the night. Sometimes I can't fall asleep til around 3am. Dh doesn't make it any easier cause he wiggles in his sleep and I'm a very light sleeper. Sometimes it gets so bad I escape to the guest room.

I haven't slept well in over a year. I have spoken with my doctor about it to no avail. I think I may have acute insomnia. I don't usually fall asleep until around 1 and I'm awake again around 4, toss and turn to about 6 and usually get up around 8ish.

I usually fall asleep and stay asleep unless I get too hot. I can fall asleep within 5 seconds of turning the light out according to DH  . I say part of it is due to walking 2.5 miles
