Good morning! I fell asleep in my recliner last night; woke up at 2:15 am and decided to get a jump-start on my Saturday. I'm going through the mounds of STUFF in my scraproom, deciding what to keep and what to pitch or donate. Eddie the cat is my constant shadow. He's about 14 now, and he is moving pretty slow. We know we'll have to make a decision before too long about whether to try fixing his health issues or let him go. This is the worst part of pet ownership; deciding when to let go.
Have you been at this point before with a beloved pet, when you had to make a decision about treating a pet's chronic condition or letting him/her go? we have found that ending the suffering is the kindest thing to do, but it's really tough.
Creating memories, one page at a time.
