First of all, I apologize for the delay in posting. Our Comcast internet went out yesterday for some unknown reason. Mike has been working on the issue and has called Comcast, who says they can't find a problem. He was able to restore internet through our computer modem but we still don't have streaming tv. We are able to get channel TV through our antenna.
Anyway, on to today's question: How do you celebrate birthdays in your family and/or among friends? Big family party, date night, informal get-together....?
When our kids were young, we had a family dinner and invited their grandparents. Each child had a birthday party with friends, either at home or at a movie, bowling or other activity. Now that the kids are gone, we usually go out for dinner or lunch, or for Mom's birthday we get carry-out. (She loves the cherry turnovers from a local bakery, so she gets birthday breakfast).
