There are only 13 more days of winter! March 19 is the FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!

When I was young, most households had a ritual called "spring cleaning". Every nook and cranny of every room was swept or vacuumed; walls washed (unless they were wallpapered), windows washed, curtains taken down, washed and re-hung; everything was scrubbed and washed to perfection. The house looked fresh and new -- for about two weeks, which is how long it took before the realities of daily life returned it to its normal state of clutter.

Do you do "spring cleaning"? If so, what are the chores that you always do? Are there some that you never do?

I don't! We wipe baseboards all year as they get dusty. I do try to polish the China Cabinet and my curio cabinet every 6 months

I don't either. I try to keep up during the year so I don't have to do it all at once. For the 1st time last year we hired someone to do all our windows and screens both inside and out. We'll definitely be doing that again!

As a dog owner, I don't wait until spring.......I do it when it needs it.

I try to do something extra cleaning wise but not top to bottom.

I try to do it all year long so when Spring hits I'm outside enjoying it instead of cleaning.

I do deeper cleaning during the winter. That way not trying to do a bunch at once
