Are you doing anything special today?

It's just Mike, Mom and me today. Nothing special planned here, other than maybe picking up Dairy Queen later for a treat. Mom and I both have received gifts from a couple of the kids, and I'm going to pick up some kind of planter with flowers/grasses to put either on the front porch or back patio. She likes to tend them but having them out in the middle of the yard is getting to be too much -- too much sun, too big of an area, etc.

It's also my youngest daughter's 29th birthday today, so I'll talk to her at some point today.

I had brunch with my older son and his family. I'm now just taking it easy and watching the Tigers baseball game.

I went down and spent a few hours visiting with my mom.

Just hanging at home after church and kids came over. I made gluten free sugar cookies for the daughter in law and served strawberry shortcake to the others. Now I am watching a movie on Netflix just chillin!
