I don't read much any more, but I used to love female crime/detective books with some humor. Janet Evanocich's Stephanie Plum series was my favorite. I burnt out on them eventually but they were a hoot.
Twilight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Nicholas Sparks, cozy mysteries, Scooby-Doo books. I, also, read graphic novels (graphic due to blood/violence not sex).
