Happy Mother Day! Do you have any Mother's Day memories that stand out?
Eleven years ago on Mothers day my mother passed away. Four days earlier she had a brain bleed and was just being kept alive by machines. We had to talk our dad into letting her go so we all met at the hospital to be there when she passed after they took the machines off. It was about four hours later when we were all there watching the monitor flat line. It was really a somber spiritual experience.
When my son turned 16 his birthday was on Mothers day. He hated sharing the day with me so I joked that I was going to get the new car and not him. LOL
